Keeping you updated and well prepared for returning to school in September.11 August 2020 (by admin) |
It is our plan that all pupils, in all year groups, will return to school full-time from the beginning of the autumn term. We will keep our guidance under review and update as necessary.
Good afternoon all,
I hope this message reaches you in good health and you are enjoying the summer break.
I am emailing today to encourage you to please keep checking our school website for updates on re-opening in September. We will begin providing further updates on our reopening plans in line with updated Government guidelines soon to keep you updated and well prepared for returning to school in September.
Our guidance is focused on how the Department for Education (DfE) expects schools to operate in this new context. This includes:
- school operations
- curriculum, behaviour and pastoral support
- assessment and accountability
- contingency planning to provide continuity of education in the case of a local outbreak
I would also like to remind parents, carers and pupils about our summer projects, details can be found here. I am so excited to see lots of your creative work on Class Dojo.
This will no doubt naturally be a daunting time for you and your children, we would like to reassure you that we will do our very best to make this transition and your child’s return to school in September as smooth as possible.
In the meantime, if you do have any questions, please get in touch!
I look forward to welcoming all pupils back to school shortly
Yours sincerely,
Sue Darbyshire
